International Norwegian Lundehund Meeting

international

norwegian lundehund meeting 2022

We have big plans!

For September 2022 we are planning an international Lundehund Meeting in northern Germany.

Exchange of ideas, hiking, small workshops, BBQ and an Olympics - let yourself be surprised!

The Norwegian Lundehund is a very rare breed, so many Lundehund lovers come from near and far. We're looking forward to seeing friends again. We are particularly looking forward to getting to know new faces and warmly welcome all those who are interested in this special breed of dog.

For organizational reasons we ask you to register for the meeting.

The campsite "Weißer Brunnen"  is located in the heart of the province Schleswig-Holstein, surrounded by forest, small streams and "Lake Mözen".

There is a place where the dogs can run. There will be a lounge, a place for grilling and campfires, great opportunities for walking in the forest and swimming in the lake and much more.

    accommodations

The campsite offers spaces for mobile homes, caravans and tents. There are also a few cabins on site, as well as many more accommodations nearby. Here is an overview:

     event offers

On the first evening, Wednesday - September 7th, 2022, to welcome you there will be a "Get-Together". We meet at the campfire next to the pond with a view of the lake, classic with bread on the stick, sausages and other finger food for chatting.

You can look forward to great workshops and demonstrations, e.g. What is Shaping? and how can I shape my dog? - Lecture of first aid for dogs, how do I recognize an emergency and how do I deal with the situation?

Have you ever heard of Stand Up Paddling? There is the opportunity to try this trend sport standing on an oversized surfboard on Lake Mözen.

In the surrounding area in the "Segeberg forest", there are also numerous hiking trails.

An Olympics with your dog with fun disciplines is planned.

    - suitable for everyone and every DOG -

At the end of our meeting we want to determine the fastest Lundenhund at the Lundehund-Race.

We reserve the right to make changes to the program.

     culinary

As a culinary highlight, a buffet of suckling pig - with delicious sauce, sauerkraut and bread - as well as a vegetarian alternative is served on Friday evening. Registration is mandatory. (Price per person ~20€)

On site we offer you the opportunity to buy cheap drinks - self-service & tally sheet for billing the consumption of drinks (coffee / tea / water / soft drinks / beer / wine)

At the moment we are trying to get a bread roll or breakfast service. There will be an update when a solution is found.

There are numerous shopping facilities a short distance away in the towns of Wahlstedt and Bad Segeberg.

The "Fischräucherei Teegen" is a fish smoke house not far, in the small village Mözen. Fine fresh fish and delicatessen are also offered.
